We actually have pretty nice bike lane/trail/connector that goes from First Flight Memorial up to Duck that is 50 miles one way. It's pretty flat here but often windy.
Good to hear, that Hwy 17 trail should be less windy as well as mostly shaded if you're up for something new off the beach. Did you take your user name from the band ?
