I built myself a cruiser last weekend. I've been wanting one for a little while so I started collecting metal recycling parts from the shop I work at. Last weekend a frame came in and it all fell together. I laced the wheels with the 3 leading, 3 trailing pattern, used and old Ringle Mojo cable hanger I've been trying to use since v-brakes came out, and found some Mafac "Racer" brakes to slow it down. A big swooping bar and some star grips tie it all together nicely. The only thing left is a metal chainguard (say what you will, they're handy) so I don't have to worry about my pant leg anymore.
