Alcohol isn't a suitable solvent for oil, so that did nothing. Use mineral spirits or naphtha to clean both the rotor pads. Or, if you don't have the right solvents you can try detergent and water, then rinse completely.

If that still doesn't work, you can do a light sanding on the shoes, but the disc should clean up well with solvent or detergent and water, so I wouldn't sand that.
