For the record, I don't know what Harlem was like before the recent road traffic pattern changes, but all of the turns were super wide and rounded. They removed all of the plastic traffic dividers and laid out the course way up into the pedestrian area. There were no corners to speak of, and no real congestion points (except for where an SUV was inexplicably parked inside turn 3). But there was a ton of road paint and a weird rough textured surface on the turns that might as well have been designed to grate skin off of bodies. And of course tons of potholes, manholes, random sharp debris, etc. At one point there was something that looked like an IED in the middle of turn 3 but it was gone by the next lap.

I'd love to do Keith Berger next weekend but I think I need a weekend off of racing -- starting to feel a little overdone.
come north. stay at my house and do whiteface. no pressure race. weather is going to be good too.
