at home feeling comfortably numb, Pink Floyd - Comfortably numb - YouTube, in hand thanks to injection and will be back on bike asap(2 weeks). got the ok that triathlon in a few weeks will be allowed. have recumbent exerciser so will be pedaling away later today. yesterday's ride, 32 miles, was a good one and I jumped the speed up to 29/30 a number of times to mix things up.

was out to el paso last weekend and rode son's new caad10, sweet bike especially with di2 that worked wonderfully with my bad wrist. dry upper 90's wasn't too bad.

oh, when hooked up to instruments I asked about pulse. told it was low 40's so I tell them i'll get it into the 30's. few minutes later they laughed when the alarm went off at 35. mentioned if I was more comfortable I'd hit 30 but with looming surgery that was not going to happen.

have a very good triathlete coming in from England in a couple of weeks and with his help it should be fun training for my ironman.
