At the last rest stop of a century a guy comes over and says to another C&Ver and I, "You guys need to get a bike from this century" along with other degrading comments. He was serious. I promptly left the rest stop behind his group and then proceeded to ride them all off my wheel. Long story, but one by one they all got dropped. I then waved at them as I was leaving and they were coming in.
