Through the years there have been several compliments and good natured chiding.

-'85 Trek 460: the kid wrench at the Trek dealer says, "wow that's really clean!", meaning it isnt rusty and caked in grease.
-Last summer my daughter brings a hipster boyfriend in to my shop takes one look at my humble vintage collection with "fixie" fixation on his mind and proceeds to go all weak in the knees on us.
