This. Very much this. And no slightly qualifiers either. 5mm is like 1/5".There are several dozen saddle makers in the world and a couple hundred different saddle models. There's over 7 Billion people on the planet. Saddles really aren't that personal a thing. A LOT of saddles get returned or are not used or cause their owners great discomfort because the rider is sitting too far forward on the saddle. Where you sit on the saddle is intrinsic, like a fingerprint. Unless the saddle is designed in a way to force the rider to sit 'here' and only here, s'he will sit where 'feels right' with respect to the reach to the bars. If that means perching on the nose of the saddle, then, so be it. As you can see, however, the goas of most saddle designs is to get you well backward where the seat widens . Sit there and you immediately open up your possible saddle choices to more than just one or two that feel great for a week and then hurt like blazes. FWIW
