When you hear about dunking the chain in melted wax, you think that in this day and age it must be one of the dumbest ideas in dealing with lubrication and rust protection. However, you encounter those advices on the lists and some years ago looking for a solution to the chain problems I went ahead and dunked my chain in melted wax.
