Headbadge says Karate, as does the decal on the down tube. DiaCompe brakes, UKAI rims, and Shimano Light Action components. Tange 900 CroMo tubes.
So she's kind of a mid level bike at best, but anyone else ever heard of this make?
I have seen a Karate somewhere before. But even more, I remember that bike shop! The I.T. guy at my job worked there in high school also! Small world.
Probably made by one of the big Japanese companies and labeled for a retailer or distributor. I love finding bikes in that condition! Makes you want to put on a Members Only jacket and pedal down to the arcade for a little Defender or Pac Man!
