Spending way too much money on a bike. Going too fast too soon.
3) If you could talk to the beginning rider before they go out, what are the things would tell them?
Assume you're invisible in traffic. Bring tools and spare tubes. Lots of water and food on long rides. Know where gas-stations are for pit-stops along the way. Bring some cash.
4) What do you think that everyone should know but seldom seem to know when they start riding?
How to negotiate traffic. Ride and behave like a vehicle, not a pedestrian. Learn to interract with other riders.
