Central park race, 27 miles. 8th out of 20.
Pretty much out of the gate the pace was very high. Half of the group got dropped immediately. I was riding really well for most of the race but then I was sitting 8th wheel and the pace ramped up. The guy in front of me let a gap go, and it was too late for me to close the gap. I kept the gap at around 10 seconds but couldn't bridge. It was really frustrating. The other 3 got dropped, I rolled in 8th. My race Thursday evening was more fun. Might be upgrading this week, if possible.
