Burlingame crit p1/2. 12th, meh.
Fun/challenging course, the 180 wasn't bad if you could get a good line through it. Started off fast, but early breaks weren't going anywhere.
With 30 mins to go, just as I'm on the front and the race is about to light up, a crash neutralized us and eventually brought the race to a halt. We did a few neutral laps, then stood around for ~10 mins.. ugh! Not sure what the injury was, but an ambulance took dude away.
After the restart, the big local team wouldn't let anything get away. With 3 or 4 to go they started their leadout, doing a UHC-style swerving leadout thing into all the corners.. fun stuff.
Last lap was pretty hectic. Coming into the last corner an old teammate elbowed past, then slid out right in front of me.. good times.
Came in at the back of the "sprint group", race lost.
