Brambleton Town Center GP (.57mi crit with 6 turns, but it felt more like 5 since it was a horseshoe turn with fluid turns in and out). This was a new event this year as it replaced a very popular 8 corner town center crit because the developer (owner of both venues) of the town center didn't want it to happen anymore at the much larger Reston Town Center). My report is short: a lot of fun and I wasn't aggressive enough; I settled for 13th.

the show of the day came when 6 members of the Maloja Pushbikers (German Pro Track Team) showed up to the p/1/2/3 race and flexed their skills. One of our local powerful amateurs (Tim Rugg) was able to get in a break with 3 of the riders, they lapped the field once and bridged to the chase group of 7 after a few laps. Two of them shot off the front again while the other members disrupted the chase and main group efforts while taking most of the primes. A great show to watch.
