5th / 29. Very very happy with my performance. I've been having some awful days at home which I thought would have played a big role in the race but I guess I got over it. On the first 10 miles there was a bad crash on a downhill that took out 3 riders. I went off the grass but got back on the road and played catch with the peloton for about 4 minutes. Caught them and there I stayed for the following 30 miles or so. Then on the last ten miles a breakaway and left with it. Got dropped from the break away about a mile from the finish but managed to get to the finish line solo with no peloton in sight. Very happy.
