I've got a set of Phil hubs from the mid-80's which have been serviced twice. I think they now charge for this, but when I did it I only had to pay the shipping. Plus they were fast! I wouldn't bother doing this yourself. I've done a bit of 'adventure' touring and these hubs are virtually indestructable and will last a lifetime.
