Looks like nickel although a few folks thought it was titanium... thinking it is from around '94 with the double mounts for the canti and v-brake.

The True Temper TT Lite is a short butted version of the True Temper OXII tubeset and it is incredibly light and stiff.

Went for a 40 km ride tonight on a combination of streets, trails, and loose gravel and climbed some stupid long hills... tomorrow I will set it up as a 1 by 8 to widen the gear range as I have some XT wheels, XT 8 speed thumbies, and an XT long cage which are period correct but would have been fitted to the next model up.

The longer ride was pretty much perfect although the climbing rated a lower gear... I still managed to stand and crunch my way to the top but that aggravates my back and hip far too much.
