Right now you are behaving like that jerk older brother who has low self esteem so his must ridicule someone (something).

A pathetic comment; especially in light of the fact that I purchased a NorthFace bike and in dirt crit races I did much better than many of the kids that had bikes that were "entry level" to "upper top level MTBs".

These kids were too funny. They were fat and then their bikes were loaded with computers, also they used clipless pedels and wore jerseys; yet they were behind me -- "Catch the guy on the Yavapai Northface".

WOW!! You maybe need to slow down and regroup on this one. I will try another way, " If by bike( some people on this board think any bike without a certain level of value is nothing more than a toy) you mean a two wheeled object that is pedaled to achieve forward motion. ( this would include ANYTHING that has two wheels and is pedaled, nothing derogatory here, in fact I actually say they are NOT BAD bikes) Does breaking this sentence down help you any? We will continue on. "I have seen a few in stores ( buildings that house retail goods for sale) and they were mostly entry level to lower middle level. ( I don't say anything bad about bikes in this price range, in fact earlier I mentioned they were NOT BAD. If one were in the market for a entry level or lower middle level one might see these bikes are not bad and comparable to others in the same range. Okay, we now see no one said the bike was bad.

The real reason you got cranky and confused me for your apparently cruel older brother was because I don't like(hate) The North Face. I am sorry you chose to become upset about this. Due to your reaction I can only surmise you did indeed purchase a two wheeled pedaled device, ( see, it's just different than the word bike. Different does not mean bad) which was bearing a North Face emblem. Maybe you could try to enlighten me instead of circumventing the real issue and attacking something you made up in your head. Saying I've seen a few bikes (two wheeled pedal powered objects) that were priced in a certain range is merely a fact. If I said I saw a blue car that was only $4 is that bad? Do you understand that any better? I still scoff at the North Face and if I was looking for an entry level model I would definately NOT get the North Face bike because I hate the company, I don't want to advertise for them. If you do, please refer back to the ball peen hammer, and yes, a rubber malllet will work until a suitable metal hammer can be appropriated.
Oh, congrats on your ability to out race the fat kids. I would bet it is due to "skill" more thasn the sticker on your "bike".
