I love riding in the morning. I try to bike to work most days, so I'm out there when the sun is coming up. also, not knowing your situation, early morning rides on the weekends are great. very low traffic and I get home at a time when there is still plenty of time left in the day for family or other plans.

if you do bike paths, some can get busy around 9:00am.

last sunday, I did 60 miles and was home by 10:00am. shower then off to get the oldest boy from one weekend campground to his week long scout campground.

tomorrow, i'll be wheels to the ground by 6:00am, 2 hours worth of riding, a little family time then a rare visit to the golf course to spend some time with friends. i'll still be home in time to grab a little more family time and read the 2 yr old his bedtime stories. one of the best parts of my everyday, btw.

also, most of the time, early morning is the coolest part of the day. cooler temps mean cooler body. more energy for more miles/speed.

so yeah, for me it's early morning
