Probably a combined total of no less than a half-dozen hours (10x that if you ask my wife) of research & opinions both here on the BF & other bike forums.

CAAD10 = rigid aluminum frame w/ carbon forks. (although, admittedly the inclusion of the SAVE system in the rear triangle implies softening)

Synapse = less rigid carbon frame (assuming carbon pick) w/ more hybrid-style triangles & head tube.

SuperSix EVO = a mix of both (at least since about 2012, according to most folks)

My assumption is that the 2015 would probably go on sale (or be haggled) for approx $1,500 if it's really going to drop & true net cost to distributors is similarly dropped. (shrug)
