Cannondale top tube cable guides.......anybody tried this?

Ok......I'm gonna super glue a pop rivet as a sleeve (minus the nail), into the factory holes........I'll put a light (but effective) crimp in the sleeve prior to insertion...... I'll then tap a pop rivet nail through the cable guide and capture the guide against the exposed rivet flange. The crimp will hold the nail in place; and the nail will hold the cable guide. I will dremel down the nail head before and after installation so the housing will pass through. This should attach it securely to the top tube. There is no real pressure on the guide until it is banged against something, so I think this will work.

Observations? Suggestions?
