Interestingly, CyclArt's new "Better than New" business model is to promote component updates similar to yours along with their paint jobs. Although I am pretty retro in my component tastes, I do admit that some of the new stuff, particularly lighting, cables, brake pads, and freehubs, really is better than the old.
