Just bought an escape 1 2014 model for $630. The LBS had a 2015 model but it had internally routed cables. I plan on raising the handlebars with Delta Head Extension(s) and may need to lengthen brake/derailleur cables. Don't want the frustration of changing the internal cables. I was impressed with the smooth, vibration free ride, the low gears(26 front,34 rear) and the fit. I checked out Trek FX 7.4, 7.3 Novara Express, and Specialized Cirrus.
