I have been trying to figure out if the Panasonic-built frame that Schwinn badged as the Super Le Tour 12.2 in 1976 was also badged a Panasonic in Panasonic's own model lineup, or if Panasonic made the Super Le Tour 12.2 frame uniquely for Schwinn. It sure looks like the Panasonic Touring Deluxe frame. My Super le Tour 12.2 shows a decal saying double butted top and bottom tubes in 4130 Chromoloy. I am told that the fork is high-ten steel. Does anybody know if the Touring Deluxe frame is the same as the Super Le Tour 12.2 frame?
