Now THE RIGHT STUFF-another movie - actually did film a little in Australia- and while searching I found this-
" Lights on in Perth and Rockingham, Australia. Glenn and a ground station in Australia chat about the residents of Rockingham and Perth turning on their lights for him. This actually did happen (and it happened again when Glenn returned to space in 1998.)"
Oh-sure hope ROAD WARRIOR was filmed in Australia.I was/am little bit of a car/motorcycle nut-along with the bikes, too many cats, bossy dog ,etc-
so the MAD MAX movies BETTER have been the real thing(it is a famous car/motorcycle nut movie)
And I got a BIG KICK out of the first Crocodile Dundee movie-sure hope that was actually Australia?? Yeah-it was a BIG HIT here!!
PS Errol Flynn- one of my favorite actors of that era(Robin Hood-splitting arrow-love that movie)
