Hmmm, I better do some re-checking! I recall that as the crank turns in a normal direction the pedal should thread in. That would be counter clockwise on the right (sprocketed) arm.
When looking at the profile of the drive side of the bike, the crank rotates clockwise. The pedal threads IN clockwise too.
