I'm 100% sure that a 28 will, a 30 may be a stretch. Check if you RD is a long cage or short cage. If I'm not mistaken, some people have put a 30 on a short cage but there are some risks. I think you'll be fine with a 34-28 combo. What kind of climbing are we talking about? How heavy are you?
