Stumbled across this link discussing a function related to the 111th anniversary of Fuji a few years back:
Fuji Honors Japanese Heritage | Bicycle Retailer and Industry News
There were a couple of highly limited edition bikes that they put out in celebration of that anniversary. This following quote, taking about that, caught my eye:
"The Kissaki is a fixed-gear handmade by Cherubim, Fuji’s original frame maker. The steel tubing is constructed of Japan’s Kaisei, and the brazing and alignment of each frame was made by master frame maker Mr. Konno." Can anyone more familiar with the history of either of these companies shed some light on what the connection between these two companies might be? At first glance, it doesn't really make much sense to me.
