It can be be fun, as long as you keep a positive outlook on life...I do enjoy some nature and dirt trails from time to time, but I also find it a lot of fun to ride through concrete jungle. Riding a bicycle can be fun no matter what the location...Large industrial parks in my area are a classic example of sprawl and I ride through them every day and I actually don't mind riding through them.
