An update since my last post.
I ended up needing a surgery to fix the fractured patella. The method is called "Figure 8," which uses 2 pins and wires to bind the broken pieces together. Surgery was performed yesterday morning. I was in exuberant pain last night!
Now I have a long road for recovery. I'm going to see my surgeon on July 14 for a follow-up. I'm in a hinged leg brace. I can bear weight on my injured leg as long as I keep the brace locked in full extension. Hopefully the surgeon will allow me to do some bending work after the follow-up meeting. I'll keep you posted!
That sucks dude, I can nearly remember you introducing yourself not that long ago. Hope everything goes fast and well! Perhaps it's a good time to clean the bike, bi weekly, until you're better.
