Thanks for Info guys! I am kind of bummed to find out that the bike was not made in Japan \_(シ)_/ . What are your opinions on this series of the Ace compared to the older series? I am pretty sure the older ones are Lugged frames and made in Japan?

Nonetheless this bike has done its job quite well. I've lived in Los Angeles for 5+ years now and I ride this bike all over LA. I actually converted the bike to a Flip/Flop since I wanted it to be much lighter, and I am usually a sprinter when I am biking the roads of LA next to cars going 45+ mph. I really want to get new wheels though, I was thinking of getting H+SON track wheels, or getting new DT SWISS spokes. I currently have Weinmann wheels.
