Back from the LBS. Chain looks fine, sprockets look good, but the derailleur, which was straightened once before was just not right. Installed a Shimano 105, and they just called and said it is shifting great. I'm heading out of town with the Specialized, so I'll pick up and test when I return. Keeping my fingers crossed!
