Yo Denver!
You have lots of us seniors with glaucoma.
Have been using 2 drops a day of Combigan and 1 drop a day of Travatan (formerly Lumigan) for at least 2 years now. Have glaucoma on both eyes with the left one having the most vision loss (dark/blind spot spot). Seems to have stabilized the eye pressure.
Had old fashioned scalpel surgery in the 1980s for cataracts by the same surgeon and that was successful. So I trust her.
Am coping fine, with doctor suggesting a discussion for laser type surgery by a glaucoma specialist to stabilize the progression when we get back from our summer escape in Utah .
Told her "as long as I don't need a seeing eye dog . . ."
All joking aside, will have discussion sometime this fall for my options.
In the meantime we are enjoying c-o-o-l tandeming in northern Utah at 95 degrees/low humidity today compared to the near 110 degrees at home in Tucson.
As usual we enjoy each day and tomorrow usually takes care of itself . . . somehow!
Hope all goes well for you two!
Pedal on!
