700x25's run at 120-125 psi in the rear and 110 in the front is now my go to standard.
I thought we did not know exactly what Mr Hillclimber did in relation to loading the bike ?
Are we certain he ****ed up, or is it more a case of "bike was listing to starboard when we got home, can't understand why" ?
I once sat in my car with my wife in Palo Alto, California and watched a nice young couple with what looked to be
about $8,000 bucks worth of road bikes on their roof rack ruin their Sunday by stopping to get money at a drive
in automatic teller machine that had a roof overhang. It happened so quickly i was unable to close my eyes or look away.
I still managed to enjoy brunch, but it took some food to settle the queasy feeling in my stomach. If I close my eyes, I can still hear the crunching and scraping.
