My riding is limited to two club rides a week and either a solo ride or ride with my gf in addition. We encourage people on our club rides to communicate so "on your left" is expected. I do not overlap my front wheel with anyone's rear wheel without them knowing. This is a recipe for disaster for what I think are obvious reasons. On club rides when approaching a corner I like to set up outside and come down on the apex to "straighten" the corner. However, I never do this without checking to see who is around me and where. Too many riders do not understand the concept.
