That depends on where you live. In a hot dollar market, maybe and primarily for a collector. I've seen a number of used vintage touring bikes go for considerably less than $800. At $800, you're bumping up against the price of a much newer used touring bike. I've seen surly long haul truckers and salsa vayas repeatedly on CL for around $1000. We can argue back and forth all day over which bike is "better" but the bottom line you have an old bike and a lot of buyers will understandably opt for the newer one if looking for a used touring bike. There is a Jamis Aurora going for considerably less than the price you are thinking of asking.
