Paul- I really think you were trying to get affirmation to your decision to loose 1041.7gm by the installation of this fork. It is not wrong that you're concerned about the fork manufacturer and any reputation you can learn of. But that you bothered to state the weight loss to the tenth of a gram... as though it really is an important factor in how the bike rides. Sorry if I took up the task of the satirest.
Much more to the ride quality "question" (the one that wasn't asked) is the geometry changes that this fork might result in. Again I don't think the weight reduction will be the big difference. And if you don't treat the fork like burley suspension one it will likely last a while. Andy.
