As I said I think this was an on and off thing. I have even seen Bianchis on ebay with a Piaggio headbadge.
Did you check for a date on the RD? are the cranks Ofmega?
FWIW; most bikes of this era did not change much year to year so don't let it drive you crazy, just enjoy riding it.
i personally think the headbadge is pretty cool! Yes i did check the cranks, they are ofmega, the rims are ambrosio elite, the crankset is campagnolo, the rear derailer is campagnolo but there is no indication of the year, It just says "campagnolo nuovo gran sport". I'm not sure about the rear cassette as it is a race cluster which looks to be a bit different from the cassette on the "nuovo racing" model. Could this be an upgraded part? Any idea of what the bike is worth? The seller is asking $700. I live in toronto so the market is pretty hot for these bikes. I'm just looking for all this info because i want to know whether the bike is worth the dollars.
