That may be true, but either way I'll bet somebody in the car got a call from Specialized when Phil and Paul were saying that the frame just snapped for no apparent reason. Frankly, having a frame break from falling off the car during a bike change isn't a lot better.

On a more relevant note, I was really impressed with Nibali today. I've been rooting for Teejay, but I had to admire the way Nibali finished. He looked strong. Of course, now it looks like his team isn't going to get a break from pulling the peloton after all. It will be interesting to see how well they hold up.
