Hi there,

I purchased a brand new bike after about an 8 year gap of owning one and got it delivered to work. Having taken the wheels off to get it back home I decided to re-assemble. I am having a huge headache getting the back wheel onto the bike. I manage to get it on the frame, but the wheel itself isn't seating on one side of the frame. The quick release pin on the side of the cassette is seating perfectly inside, but the one on the side of the disc brake is barely inside (about 1/4 cm). Have I managed to buckle, bend or screw something up, or am I just being stupid? I've been trying to get this wheel on for over an hour!!! I can provide pictures if appropriate.

Please bear in mind, i'm a a total rookie here, a forum is my last stop before a bike shop - i've been on the internet for ages looking for the solution.
