My wife (uh huh) and I went over to Whiteface Mountain to watch the finish of a 100K Mountain Bike race a few weeks back. They ride up and over 2 mountains on dirt. Its a qualifier for the Leadville Colorado race later on. Those dudes were big. I'm 6' , 185 lbs. Not small, but I don't feel large. I felt small near the finishers of this race. They all seemed 6'2- 6'5 and had gigantic thighs, chests, calves, small hips, etc. I'd guess they were 180-220 lbs. Those guys/gals rule and carry much more size then road riders. They surely weren't crying when they took a spill. That is one tough sport. My wife said they were hot.
