Incidentally: Never wash all your cycling gloves the night before you have to ride to work. They were all still wet! I wound up using my winter gloves because I didn't want wet frozen fingers.
... and never leave your gloves out long enough for your better half to misplace one before you ride again. <grumble> No gel gloves today.
