If you pull off Mt Tam, there's no reason why you can't get a Triple Crown this year. White Mountain is easier (especially the lowland version), and, assuming you're in SFBA, you have a choice of three others within a 4 to 5 hour drive. The biggest area of concern would be weather, since, by late September and early October, Bass Lake Double and particularly Knoxville Double have nontrivial chance of rain.
