ideas on a black crank to go with 7800
I am gathering parts to build a custom steel road bike (frame is slated to be built in a couple months). I will be using my 7800 group from my old/crashed cdale along with black thomson elite seatpost/stem, bontrager rxl wheels (black rib/hub, white spokes), a black brooks b15 saddle, black headset, bars, etc.
The one thing I don't like from the 7800 group, in terms of looks, is the crank. I would love to get a 6800 group, but its not in the budget for now, so I am thinking just replace the thing that I don't like. I want a black crank to tie the components into the black feel of everything. I am having a hard time thinking of options though.
A friend suggested (and has a couple) white industry cranks, but I dont know how I feel about them.
I am looking for a double, I think a compact. Pricing is around 300, though lower is always better.
