That's going to make a good looking fixed. Before you buy the BB just make sure the threads aren't Swiss. My 70s U08 is Swiss. I put a square taper spindle in the original cups which were for cottered cranks (the cups are the same for taper or cotter). I found a short spindle (I think I even used it short side to the drive) that gave me a good chainline with the ring on the outside. I had a Super Maxy crank and put a 46 tooth ring on the outside

French bottom brackets have 35x1 threading that is right hand threaded on both the adjustable (left) and fixed (right) cups

Swiss bottom brackets have 35x1 right hand threads on the adjustable (left) side and left handed threads on the (right) gear side
