I spent thirty minutes on hold with Pacific Cycle so I could request Falcon shifters to replace the ones that have failed. The very nice lady told me A) I'm one of three female assemblers she's talked to on that Walmart only parts order line- one of the others works in Hawaii- and B) the shifters are back-ordered for at least three weeks. Luckily, I was calling from the phone in the Electronics department. This put me in a great position to watch one of the display TVs. It was showing "Tom & Jerry" cartoons so all in all it was a pretty good way of blowing thirty minutes.
