Two years ago, as I recall, the 33 hilly ride was routed back on the trail for the last 2 miles or so. However, I think many riders stay on the road and come back to the park via River Road and the front entrance.
Last year was a bit wet too. The reentry to the park for the 33 mile ride was a muddy and sloppy as a result.
