RUOkie for his tutorial on gear selection strategy. He's such a pro he can tell you what gears to use on climbs he's never seen.
I pretty much use all my gears on every climb, lol. The idea of saving one in reserve was foreign to me. Every now and then, I think I'm out of gears only to discover I have one left. Happy moment.
