I had a nice commute this morning. Cloudy, quite, pleasant in general. I got a draft from a truck up the incline on the bridge this morning, that was pleasant and fast.

I tried the first most of my commute in my middle ring this morning, I use it maybe a few km for every few hundred km. I was not spinning out like I thought I would, but then again I had an unusual heavy load for the ride. Nor was I particularly slower. I may try it more to work on getting my cadence up.

I also feel fast in the rain and I think that I have had some of my better commutes in rain. There is something peaceful and serene about the rain. I really enjoy hiking in it as well.
