Okay, I'm being a smartass here...but it is something to think about.

You go on a car trip...when you get to your destination do you just ship your car home??? Of course not, you drive it home. Why do cyclists always end up shipping a bike home instead of riding it home? Plan accordingly on time and take a different route to the destination as you take to get home and see more territory as a result.
